FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What types of payments do we accept?  We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, Debit Cards & Cash - NO CHECKS, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Do we negotiate prices?  We do not negotiate prices. We do have sales, but do not know what items or when. We make that decision on a weekly basis.

Do we hold items?  We will hold a large item for up to 30 minutes. You can not leave items on our holding shelves, then leave and return later in the day. If you have to leave to get money (15 minutes or so), PLEASE tell us before you leave.

Do we have lay-away?  We do not have lay-away.

Can I purchased items seen on the web site, over the phone?  You can call and pay for larger items over the phone, however you can not change your mind, and you must pick it up within 3 days of purchase unless other arrangements are made.

Can I purchase an item and pick it up at a later date?  We allow 3 days for pickup of large items. We can extend that to the closest Friday before we open, but the item must be picked up by the date agreed upon. Failure to pick up an item will result in a $10 per day per item storage fee. YOU MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO PICK UP AN ITEM.

Are you open during the week?  We are not open for sales, however someone is here Monday-Friday. You may call prior to picking up a previously purchased item.

Do we accept returns?  As a standard policy there are no returns. The exception to this rule is for electronics. If we state that the item works, you take it home, and it does not function properly, you may return the item. If we have the item in stock, we will exchange it...if not, we will issue a refund. Since we do not have a fitting room, you may EXCHANGE a piece of clothing that does not fit as long as the tags are still attached and it has not been worn. ALL REFUNDS AND/OR EXCHANGES MUST HAVE A RECEIPT AND BE DONE WITHIN ONE WEEK OF PURCHASE - NO EXCEPTIONS. You may examine any item after you purchase it, before you leave the store.

Is there a limit on the number of items I can purchase?   We place limits on grocery items. For example, you may only purchase one case of water, one pack of bathroom tissue or paper towels, one of any type of cereal, etc.

Do you have shopping carts?  We do not have shopping carts, however we do have shopping baskets and several shelves for holding your items while you shop. PLEASE do not put items on the holding shelves if you are "thinking" about purchasing it...only hold items you are DEFINITELY going to buy.

Am I responsible if I or my child breaks an item?   You are fully responsible for anything you or your child damages or destroys. It is a common misconception that businesses have insurance for this - NO BUSINESS HAS INSURANCE FOR CUSTOMER DAMAGE TO STORE MERCHANDISE.
